Makeup Bag Contents

A while back, Rai posted about the contents of her makeup bag, and asked what everyone else had in theirs?

Here’s what’s in mine:

I have the Pop Beauty Eyeshadow palette I told y’all about, with a MAC & Sephora brush still inside it’s original container – but it’s makeup so it counts as in my makeup bag!!! The bag is clear b/c of course I have difficulty on a day when my brains refuse to function when finding things… Inside is a mini tissue pack, a nail file, disposable eye shadow applicators, a one time use Shout wipe, 2 Body Shop lotion samples, Juicy roll on mini perfume, MAC mascara, a mirror, nail polish, lip glosses and balms a-plenty, my USB stick, and a pen. Some of them are random right? Well… that’s yaya for you.

Pluggin’ Pluggin’

I think I might do a ” pluggin’ ” post once a week just cuz it saves y’all money, and helps pay the bills over here… cool?

Swapping

Hey y’all

1- This is so WAY overdue b/c I got this more than a week ago from Rai but a lot of personal things came up and I didn’t get around to posting about it. Here is what she sent me from our swap:

2- From reading a lot of people’s blogs – there seems to be a blog swapping problem going on. I just have to say that I’m glad it hasn’t happened to me (sorry for being selfish lol) and now I am skeptical to swap with any new people. I know that through my two swaps that I have done, both were successful, and otherwise I like to send “care” packages for birthdays/just because, mostly with samples and stuff that I think others will like. That and my contest winners who have received packages from me. So in the meantime I believe I will have to be super careful if I engage in any new swaps. Good luck to everyone who had trouble with it!

Shop It To YOU

Hey y’all

I’m currently working on a large post about how to save money and where to sign up for the quickest alerts on the fastest and cheapest things.

I couldn’t pass up an opportunity, though, to put a spotlight on Shop It to Me!

This is a website that delivers what you (I mean it) want to your e-mail address. You choose your sizes, your price range, your stores, your designers, your discount amount, your desired e-mail frequency, etc. They even have an option to pause e-mails (very good for events when VISA threatens to disown you or you go on vacation and will not be checking e-mail under the sun). Then they work their magic and send items to you.

My case for example? I love a plethora of designers. I have it set for under $175, in all my sizes, with a minimum of 60% off discount. It’s even better b/c they add in their own additional offers with certain stores.

You can even remove retailers. Why? Well Steve Madden and I are big-time enemies and I have taken a vow of nonpurchase after too many unhappy situations with the company/customer service/product. What did I do? Yaya clicked Remove retailer and didn’t hear from those good for nothings ever again!
